Who supports PR in Cincinnati?
This is a very clear discussion of the Cincy PR campaign. It looks like a radio broadcast.
In the battleground state of Ohio, it should be an especially high turnout year. Do you think this coalition can tip the balance?
Former City Councilman Chris Smitherman says he expects Republicans, independents, Libertarians and Greens will vote in favor of proportional representation, because PR could break up Democratic control of the council.

To speak as a representative of one of the so-called Democratic majority in Cincinnati, there is no Democratic control in Cincinnati. I work for Proctor and Gamble, the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, and the other ruling corporations of Cincinnati. So the idea that there is a Democratic majority is just plain wrong. Just wanted to clarify that.

A stronger incentive to support the measure than “breaking up a majority,” I bet, is the prospect of winning seats.
